Coaster Flip Calendar Stand Tutorial

Here is part 2 of my video. I finally figured out how to edit my video in the flip software. Not the most efficient but it worked.

After you create your calendar pages, I used 4x4 coasters, you will need to make the stand. This video will guide you through the process of making the stand and how to use your bind it all to put it all together.

Basic Ingredients:

- Poster Board - 2 pieces measuring 4.25 inches by 4.25 inches and 2 pieces measuring 4.25 inches by 1 inch.
- Black paper - 1 piece measuring 4 x 12 inches (this will need to be trimmed later) and 1 piece measuring 5.25 x 12 (may need to be trimmed as well).
- Adhesive - I used ATG
- Bone Folder
- Scissors
- Bind it all and 1" binding rings cut to 6 posts

The rest of the instructions can be found in the video.

Here are some close up photos of how to and not to do your corners:

Correct Way

Corner is mitered leaving a little space between the poster board and miter cut.

Resulting fold does not show any of the white poster board.

The Wrong Way

This corner (above) is mitered too close to the corner of the poster board.

Resulting fold will reveal the whtie of the poster board.
